Local Community Involvement

All our U.S. locations engage in community efforts every year! We enjoy positively impacting our communities and encourage engagement through volunteer opportunities and services. Our commitment to benefitting societal and environmental causes motivates us to give back to our communities in a variety of ways

Bemidji

Bemidji’s Dragon Boat Festival is an exciting day filled with competition, food, and fun. Every year our Bemidji team has the opportunity to participate, spectate and volunteer in the events. The festival is organized and staffed entirely with volunteers and all proceeds go back into the community. United Way also hosts the Coat for The Community event and each year our employees get the chance to donate clean winter gear for all ages.

Blue Earth

Our Team in Blue Earth happily hosts as a service location for Channel One food Bank. Channel One is a member of Feeding America a US based nationwide network of more than 200 food banks. Nortech employees, friends, and families volunteer every month to load prepackaged boxes of food into vehicles of local residents.

Mankato

The team in Mankato participates on a yearly basis in the Human foosball event hosted by United Way a charitable organization which donates to non-profits meeting health and human service needs across Minnesota.

Maple Grove

This year we all gathered for our annual Souper Bowl party and had the opportunity to donate canned foods and raise money to denote to The Food Group, a local nonprofit working towards food justice and equity.

Milaca

For years the Milaca Area Chambers of commerce has hosted their annual Milaca Parade, and our employees in Milaca get to be a part of the festivities. We also get involved in the Milaca Business Trunk or Treat spreading joy and happiness in our community.
